The Chef-O-Nette (Chef-O) is a stalwart diner with a drive-thru (one of the first in the Nation). We provide traditional homestyle dishes in a newly refreshed (still old-fashioned) interior. Fine food. Good times. Classic vibes.
The Chef-O-Nette opened in 1955 under the ownership of Chuck Zollinger, Jim Reed & Bill McKinley. In 1972 Maborn Howard and his son Harlan assumed the role of proprietor. With few ownership changes over the last 70 years. In 2024, the Purdum’s became the third family to operate the restaurant.
